Testimonials

JoAnn (my cousin) spent very little time together until she moved from back East to Colorado in 1957. We were fortunate to attend Merrill Junior High together grades 7th and 8th which really gave us an opportunity to know each other. We would see each other nearly everyday during those two years and would socialize as much as possible like kids like to do. Even though we attended the same junior high together we were separated attending different high schools. We still remained good friends during high school but after graduation we kinda went different ways but always stayed in touch. We would see each other at different get togethers and catch up on what was happening in each other lives. JoAnn and her sister Jean ventured down to AZ to visit us, that is when we really got to know each other. She really liked the warm climate and decided that she would move to the Phoenix area. Once in Phoenix she purchase a home and remained there eight or nine years. During those years we did a lot together as a family, she really liked the outdoor concerts at Sun City, AZ. Those years brought us together in a good way, we really enjoyed each other sitting by the pool or going to eat Mexican food.. She always was a great person to enjoy free time with regardless of what was planned. Once JaAnn moved to the East coast we would keep in touch and always call each other on their birthdays. During her time in AZ she made a lot of great friends that were hard for her to leave but the hot summers just got to be too much.

JoAnn survived several medical challenges during her lifetime but always maintained a positive attitude and did what she had to do to survive and have fun.

To some it up she was a great cousin, one hell of dancer that enjoyed life to the max!! She was a great person and will be missed by all that were fortunate to know and love her.
