Tim passed peacefully from this life the afternoon of May 30th after a gradual decline in health. He was surrounded and supported by his loving family and caregivers during the last days of his life. Tim was born in Spartanburg, SC but has been a Washingtonian since the early 1960’s, he just recently returned to the Palmetto state where he lived the remainder of his life.
Tim is survived by his wife Kay F Fowler, children Gina Mobley, Manassas, VA; Teresa Cannady, Washington, DC; Andre Fowler, Washington, DC; Cortenia Smith, Bladensburg, MD; Natalie Alexander, Upper Marlboro, MD; Nelvina Jones (Paris Jones) of Myrtle Beach, SC. Grandchildren, Greatgrandchildren, Brother in Law James Thompson (Dean). So many more nieces, nephews, cousins, to name all whom loved Tim and was loved by him.
He was preceded in death by his parents Will & Nina Suber Fowler, his first wife Dorothy, brothers Donald, Perry, Joe, sisters Nellie, & Lucille his step sons Keith Douglas & Travis Raynard Alexander (although in his house no one was a stepchild). Last but not least, special beloved family members & friends Zane Alexander, Thomas Jordan, Orin Matthews & Henry Moore.
Tim accepted the Lord as his personal Savior a long time ago, therefore he was not afraid of leaving this temporary place called home. Tim touched the lives of many and will be celebrated for years to come. A humbled man, husband, father, brother, uncle, son and friend to so many. Today we celebrate his life; tomorrow we carry on his legacy. As he always said “Walk by Faith not By Sight”.
