Our History

The Burroughs Funeral Home and Cremation Services of 3558 Old Kings Highway in Murrells Inlets, SC opened its doors on August 1, 2012 by Chris and Tangie Burroughs. Chris has been a long time local funeral director and business owner and previously owned and operated another funeral home in Myrtle Beach. Seeing the need for high quality funeral and cremation service at a reasonable price, Chris took the opportunity to invest in the local community with a 4,600 square foot facility and our new 6,000 square foot building with a chapel seating capacity of up to 200. We offer $995 cremations for those families that are value minded. Still offering traditional funeral services, the full service facility is the most up to date funeral home on the Grand Strand.
