Celebrating the life of Janet Loraine Wilson
Thank you for signing Janet Loraine Wilson's Guestbook
Janet was one of the most complex and truthful (come what may) people I have ever met. She championed her patients and those that did not find a voice for themselves. She hurt my feelings, made me angry, and tested my patience, but always she listened to me. I will always be grateful for all the insight, advice, and medical knowledge she imparted to me when my mother became ill. When my mother weighed under 100 pounds, it was Janet who sternly told me, “Deb you aren’t going to get her back. She is going to die.” I knew that but did not want to believe it. In Janet’s downright honest way, she was preparing me to let go. When I got the news, Barbara and I flew to SC, in support of brother Ron, but also to let Janet know we loved her, and that she was well thought of. I will miss her.
