Kenneth William LeBlanc



Mr. Kenneth William LeBlanc, age 72, of Myrtle Beach, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2017 at his residence. Mr. LeBlanc was born December 25, 1944 in Boston, Massachusetts to the late Mr. Clair William LeBlanc and the late Mrs. Rita Foley LeBlanc. In addition to his parents, Mr. LeBlanc was preceded in death by his first wife, Janet Larkin LeBlanc, and by a grandson, Vincent Case. Mr. LeBlanc was a veteran, having served in the US Air Force, where he had been stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska. Having worked in Health Physics in the Nuclear Industry, he received a Teaching Certificate to teach Nuclear Physics to all of the new techs coming in. He loved traveling, and enjoyed playing his guitar and harmonica. Some of his favorite pastimes were dancing and riding his motorcycle. Mr. LeBlanc enjoyed making others laugh. His favorite saying was "It was all for the fun of the pun". Among his accomplishments, he had become a published writer, and loved poetry. Most of all, he loved his church, and loved being a servant of God.

Mr. LeBlanc is survived by his wife - Mary Harper of Murrells Inlet ; 2 Daughters - Claire LeBlanc of Nebo, IL, and Cathy LeBlanc of CO ; 1 Son and Daughter in Law - Jeff LeBlanc and Jessica LeBlanc of MA ; 6 Grandchildren - Johnathan LeBlanc, Patrick Thompson, Amber Inabinet, Rachel, Dustin, & Brianna ; 2 Sisters - Joan Volpe (& Albert) & Barley Walters ; 1 Brother - Paul LeBlanc ; and Several Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, & Great Nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Kenneth William LeBlanc will be held Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 2:00pm in the Low Country Community Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that Memorial Contributions be made to help with the final expenses.
