Yvette Taylor Obituary

Yvette Taylor, 73, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Friday September 16, 2022 at her home in Surfside Beach, South Carolina. She was born on May 14, 1949 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Jack Steinberg & Elsie Brown Steinberg. Along with her parents, Yvette is reunited in passing with her brother, Charles Brown.

Yvette had a vibrant spirit and a zest for life. The animal lover she was led her to become a skilled and dedicated dog groomer who took pride in her abilities. In her free time, Yvette enjoyed crafting, traveling, singing karaoke, writing. Later in life, she fulfilled a dream of becoming a published author. Above all else, Yvette loved her family with her whole heart. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for her quick wit, her love for Elvis and especially the love she had for her family and animals.

Left to cherish Yvette’s memory are her adoring husband, Fred Taylor of Surfside Beach; sons, Erike, Brian & Nycholas; daughters in-law, Carmen, Maria, Shannon, Samantha; son in-law, Jason; grandchildren, Eliza, Joshua, Chris, Cassandra, Collin, Emma, Joey & Mathias; sister, Melanie; several nieces, nephews and cousins and a large, loving, extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.

A celebration of Yvette’s life will be held on Saturday September 24, 2022 at 1:00PM at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Highway, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. The family will gather to greet friends from 12:00PM until the time of service as well as immediately following the service, until approximately 3:30PM. Please wear something red, in memory of Yvette.
