William "Bill" Rochelle, Sr.

William (Bill) Rochelle, Sr., 76, of Florence, South Carolina, passed away on December 27, 2025. He was born on July 5, 1949, and spent much of his early life in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Bill was married for 15 years to the love of his life, Lonnie Faye Rochelle, of Florence, SC. Together they shared a life built on love, companionship, and family.

Bill spent his career as an over-the-road truck driver and retired from Martin Trucking, where he took great pride in his work. Known for his strong work ethic and dedication, he provided faithfully for his family throughout his career.

A lifelong NASCAR fan, Bill enjoyed watching races whenever he could and was an avid collector of racing memorabilia. In his spare time, he found joy in following the sport he loved so much. Bill was also deeply devoted to his family and cherished time spent with them. He had a special place in his heart for his beloved Chihuahua, Baby Girl, who was his constant companion.

Bill was preceded in death by his son; his parents; and his siblings, including three sisters and one brother.

He is survived by his wife, Lonnie Faye Rochelle; his three daughters; and his four stepchildren, along with extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.

A graveside service will be held at a later date, which will be announced in the near future.
