William J. Beech, Sr. of Murrells Inlet, SC passed away peacefully at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), on Monday, August 25th, 2025. William was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late James Beech and Evelyn Smith.
In addition to his parents, William is preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Beech, son Gary Beech, daughter, Lisa McHenry; brother Jack Beech and sisters Alice (Peachy) Donofrio and Patricia Trumbette.
Bill is survived by his brother, James Beech, of Swindon England, Sister, Laura “Puddy” Smith, of Davenport Florida, sons, William J. Beech, Jr. and his husband Kip of Myrtle Beach, SC, Michael Beech and his wife Kelly of Coupeville WA; his cherished grandchildren, Stacey Trimble, Brett and Kelsey Beech, Michael and Alex Beech, Josie Campos, Bruce and Justin McDonald, Drew Beech and Breanna Siwek; and seven great grandchildren, Kambria Trimble, Haiden and Colton Beech, Logan and Daniel MacDonald, Parker Beech and Sloane Siwek; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as numerous supportive friends. And we would be remise if we didn’t include “Prince” Mom and Dad’s faithful sidekick and K9 companion who kept Mom laughing and Dad on his toe’s day after day.
Bill was a proud USMC veteran, animal lover and a devoted Philadelphia
