Wilfried Hendrik Wrusch

Wilfried Hendrik Wrusch, Will, passed away on January 23, 2026, surrounded by the love of his children and his dear friend Donna Scherzinger (Shitslinger).

He was born on May 30, 1956, in Detroit, MI and enjoyed each day by living it to the fullest.

Will worked hard as a specialty auto mechanic and had an eye for a good deal! He had a unique ability to buy, fix, and flip cars and small engine toys. He lived simply and didn’t ask for much in return. He enjoyed being by the water, the beach or the lake, going fast on his speed boat, staying tan, and meeting new people. He had a way of making ordinary moments into a good time or a thrill!

He was incredibly proud of his family. He is survived by his children, Rachel Obenschain (Charley), Jason Wrusch (Wendy), Alyssa Wrusch, Tiffany Yandle (Cason), his 7 grandchildren Aidan, Abby, Jayden, Hailey, Karly, Beckett, Olsen, and his brother Michael Wrusch and sister Angie Leckow (Bernd). He was preceded in death by his Father Gerhard Wrusch, Mother Margot Wrusch, and Brother Martin Wrusch.

The family asks that you honor him in the way he would have liked best—by spending time with the people around you, sharing a drink, and living life in a way that brings you joy!

 A celebration of life will be scheduled for a later date; family and friends will be notified.
