Wesley Howard Obituary

Wesley Leon Howard, age 87, passed away peacefully Monday, September 26, 2022 at his Myrtle Beach residence surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Savannah, TN; Mr. Howard was the son of the late Wes Bever Howard and Cora Howard. He enjoyed, golf, fishing, hunting for quail and playing pool with the guys at Senior Citizen sites.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Howard is preceded in death by his two month old daughter, Thersia; step-son, Terry L. McFarlin and five brothers.

Survivors include his wife, Nell L Howard, Myrtle Beach; daughter, Carrie Ann Howard Oster; grandchildren, Sarah McFarlin King, Vienna, IL; Miles Oster, Myrtle Beach; Lindsay Oster Hannah, Boone, NC; great grandchildren, Kolten McFarlin, Addison Hennesy, Candance Hennesy, Eva Hannon, Jax Hannon, and Ivy Hannon.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Hwy, Murrells Inlet, SC, with interment following in Hillcrest Cemetery, 1000 SC-544 Conway, SC 29526. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the time of service from 1:00-2:00pm.

The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the staff at ProMedica Hospice; Chaplin John and Burroughs Funeral Home.
