Travis Neel Mustard

Travis Mustard, 45, of Surfside Beach, SC passed away on Friday, March 20th.  Born on February 24^th 1981, he was the son of Mark Mustard and the late Jane Sult Mustard.  

Travis grew up in Bluefield, WV and Richlands, VA.  He graduated from Bluefield High School, Class of 1999.    Travis dedicated more than 25 years to the United States Postal Service.  Most recently, he was a Supervisor at the Post Office in Murrell’s Inlet, SC. He had a deep love for his family.  Travis enjoyed watching movies, cooking, playing golf, and basketball.    He found the most joy in taking care of other people.  

Travis leaves behind the love of his life and best friend, his wife Lisa Mustard of Surfside Beach, SC.   They shared a beautiful life and love story.  Together they enjoyed each other’s company, traveling to many places and settling into their new home in Surfside, where they built a beautiful life together.

In addition to his Mother, he was preceded in death by his Mother-in-law, Shirley Garmon, Grandparents Bob and Joyce Mustard, and Grandfather, Ellis Sult.

In addition to his wife, those left to cherish his memory are his stepsons, Jackson and Finnley McAdams, of Surfside Beach, SC.   His Father, Mark Mustard, and Stepmother Kathi of Bluefield, VA.   Brothers Brandon (Tiffany) and Matthew (Tonya) Mustard.  Grandmother Elaine Sult.    Sister-in-law Christy Pope (Matt) and Brother-in-law Eddie Garmon (Lesley).  Stepbrother, Chance Dawson.  He also leaves behind his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Travis is also survived by many dear friends whom he loved beyond measure.   His best friend and Fur baby, Sophie Mustard. 

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 28^th,  2026, at Burroughs Funeral Home in Murrells Inlet, SC.
