Thomas Belisle, Sr.

Thomas Belisle Sr. a beloved father, Pop Pop, and brother crossed the finish line of life on April 18, 2021.  Thomas was born July 13, 1956 and passed peacefully in his sleep.

Thomas was born in Woonsocket, RI before settling down in CT, and then Myrtle Beach upon retiring.  Thomas retired in 2018, after 35 years at General Dynamics as a Master Carpenter. Called “Tommy” by most and “Turkey” by others, he was an avid Nascar enthusiast and had a passion for working on any vehicle.  Tom was the one we all called when we were having engine issues, advice on how to build something, or needed help fixing almost anything in the house.  He was always there to assist by hand or sitting in a chair with a beer supervising and giving direction.   

Thomas is predeceased by his father, Theodore Belisle, his mother Mary Jane “Jeanette” Lanoue, his sister Paulette Belisle, and brother Mike Kendzierski.  Tom is survived by his 3 children, Thomas Belisle Jr. and his wife, Ava of Deltona FL, Heather Landry and her husband, Ryan of Gales Ferry CT, and Malinda Narine and her husband, Ronnie of Myrtle Beach SC.  He is survived by 9 grandchildren Zachary Belisle, Alexandria Belisle, Cory Belisle, Mackenzee Belisle, Robert Justice, Ethan Justice, Emersyn Landry, Roman Narine and Renesme Narine. He is also survived by brothers, Paul Belisle and Andrew Kendzierski, sister Priscilla Parson, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  

The family will be having a memorial service for Tom at The Polish Club in Montville, CT on May 22, 2021 at 1pm.   All of those wishing to attend are welcome to come and pay their respects to Tom and his family. In true Tom fashion we will celebrate him one last time surrounded by those who knew the fun, kind man he was.
