Thomas Edward Anderson

Thomas Edward Anderson, 62, passed away unexpectedly on Monday November 16, 2020 at his home in Conway, South Carolina. He was born in Conway on September 21, 1958 the son of the late Richard Arthur Anderson, Jr., & Phyllis Lundy Anderson.

Along with his parents, Tom is reunited in death with his beloved wife, Maria Anderson; and his brother, Mark Monroe Anderson.

Tom was a very hard-working man with a heart of gold. His love for the outdoors and his diligent work ethic, lead Tom to have a successful career in the landscaping industry for many years. Tom loved to talk and chit chat with anyone who would lend an ear. His easy going personality made it so he never met a stranger. In his free time, Tom loved tinkering with his many projects around the house, playing drums and making memories with friends and family. Above all else, Tom loved his family with his whole heart. He will be deeply missed, but remembered for his quick wit, sarcastic sense of humor and the way he was always tapping his fingers and toes in rhythm.

Left to cherish Tom’s memory are his adoring daughters, Crystal P. Anderson of Conway & Carla Marie Anderson of Surfside Beach; grandson, Emmitt James Stukins; brother, Richard "Phil" Anderson; several nieces, nephews and cousins; a large, loving, extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.

A Celebration of Tom’s life will be held at a later date.
