Terri Mishoe Brackett, age 61, of Conway, SC, passed away on May 29, 2026, after a brief illness. Terri was born on April 26, 1965, in Columbia, SC.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Betty Mishoe; her paternal grandparents, Pinkie and Sims Memory “Ben” Mishoe; and her maternal grandparents, Grace and Rufus James Abbott.
Terri leaves behind those who loved her dearly, including her wonderful and caring son, Robert Brackett (Amanda); Sophia and Eli Downs; her sister, Kim Mishoe-Bodkin Mullally (Tom); her special niece, Tiffany Robinson (Kyle), and great-nephews, Declan and Keegan, whom she adored; her goddaughter, Brynn Jesalyn Rose Jones; as well as many cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
Terri worked in the legal field for more than 25 years and truly enjoyed helping others. She was known for warmly greeting everyone with a “Hello darling” or “Hey honey.” She was always so “put together” and was known for having her nails perfectly painted — always red. In her younger years, she enjoyed traveling and visiting different countries. Above all else, her greatest joy in life was spending time with her beloved dog, Gizmo, and with her family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Christ the Servant Lutheran Church, 2105 Highway 501 East, Conway, SC. A reception will follow the service. Everyone is invited to wear “Red” nail polish in honor of Terri.
Memorial donations may be made in Terri’s memory to Scneedshelp.org, GiveBackSC.com, or Christ the Servant Lutheran Church Music Fund.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of McLeod Hospice, Angel Oak Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Rob Brackett, Angela Suggs, Debbie and Karl Walters, Julaan Derrick, Rhette and Rodney Stanley, Ms. Cora, and Bobby Anderson for their kindness, care, and support during Terri’s illness.
