Suzanne Renee Lanci

Suzanne Renee Lanci, 60, passed away peacefully with her loving son by her side on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at her home in Pawleys Island, South Carolina. She was born on April 7, 1961 to the late John & Gail St. Dennis Hardy.

Along with her parents, Sue is reunited in passing with her husband John Lanci, Sr.

Sue was a kind and hardworking woman with a heart of gold. She was a dedicated manager of dietary services for many years in hospitals, colleges, and private event settings.  Her family and friends remember her as a generous and thoughtful person who found great pleasure in caring for others, striving to make all those around her feel comfortable and welcomed into her home. In her free time, Sue enjoyed baking, playing board games, and making memories with her family.  Sue lived a fulfilling life having traveled across the globe, experienced Jazzfest, and dined at well known restaurants within the culinary community.   She will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish Sue’s memory is her son, John Lanci, Jr of Pawleys Island; brother, John Hardy of Mississippi; as well as her nieces and nephews, Scott Lanci, Jennifer Lanci, Jessica Hardy Cuevas, Evan Adams and Seth Grueneberg; a loving, extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.

A Celebration of Sue’s life will be held at a later date. Those details will be announced when finalized.
