Stanley Rocke Obituary

Stanley Rocke, 85, passed away peacefully Saturday January 17, 2026, at Tidelands Waccamaw Hospital in Murrells Inlet, SC.

Formerly of South Setauket, NY, Stanley was born in Bronx, NY the son of the late Stanley Alexander Rocke and Esther Beatty Rocke.

A member of Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church in Pawleys Island, SC, Stanley enjoyed playing tennis, basketball, bowling and working out. He especially enjoyed music, dancing and attending parties.  In addition to being a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church, Stanley was also a member of the National Shorthand Reporters Association and the New York State Shorthand Reporters Association.  As a Board Member of the Georgetown Mentor Group, Stanley was a mentor to our youth.

In addition to his parents, Stanley is preceded in death by his loving wife, Yvonne Rocke.

Survivors include his son, Stanley Alexander Rocke, Middle Island, NY; daughter, Nichole Danielle Rocke; first cousin, Carmelo Robinson, Schenectady, NY; granddaughter, Julie Rocke.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday February 7, 2026, at Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church, 1633 Waverly Road, Pawleys Island, SC 29585.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations in Stanley’s name be made to Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church.
