After leaving the service, he relocated to Connecticut where he went on to work for AT&T for over thirty years and meet the love of his life, Barbara. In 1968, they married and in 1974, Stan and Barb moved their young family to David Street in Enfield, Connecticut, where they spent thirty-seven years making memories with amazing neighbors and friends. Stan was passionate about planes, trains and automobiles and devoted many hours volunteering at the Connecticut Trolly Museum in East Windsor, Connecticut. Stan and Barb retired to Murrells Inlet in 2011 and again found a community of wonderful people. In retirement, Stan became a Mason and a Shriner Clown in order to serve his new community in a fun manner.
