Obituary
Stanley L. Crouse, age 72, of Murrells Inlet, passed away peacefully Sunday July 31, 2022 at his home.
Formerly of East Greenbush, NY, Stanley was born in Albany, NY the son of the late Stanley Nicholas Crouse and Betty Holmes Crouse. He was a proud U.S. Army National Guard Veteran, who enjoyed walking, biking, rv/camping and on a good day golfing. Stanley was a avid crossword puzzle enthusiast and a History Channel buff. He was a member of the American Legion, the VFW and was a supporter of local charities and organizations.
Survivors include his loving partner of 30 years, Susan Cartwright; Sister Janet Milne and her late husband Bob, daughters, Timi Jenkins and her husband Dan; Marcia Baxter and her husband Danford; Becky Durst and her husband Dave; grandchildren, Andy Jenkins, Max Jenkins, Kendall Jenkins, Cole, Reese, Wyatt Baxter, Rowan, Theo Durst, Lisa, Ryan and Anna Murphy.
A private service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Stanley’s name to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org or to American Legion Post 178, PO Box 478, Murrells Inlet SC 29576.
