Shauna Victoria Nagy

Shauna Victoria Nagy, 51, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday April 9, 2026 while at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She was born on August 22, 1974 in Passaic, New Jersey.

Shauna had a personality larger than life itself! While in the north, she worked in her family’s record store, Spin Me Round Records where she made life-longs friends and lasting connections. She was warm and welcoming to everyone who walked through those doors. In her free time, Shauna enjoyed being a “girlie- girl!” She loved bling and all things that glittered. She was a collector of many things but unicorn plushies and European dolls where her favorite and most sought after. Shauna was also gifted with artistic abilities and loved to paint and sculpt crafts for friends. When she wasn’t working or spending time with her friends, Shauna could be found thrift shopping and adding to her menagerie of trendy clothing and shoes, curating outfits for special occasions and being the true fashionista. Shauna found peace while walking the beach, listening to pop-music- especially Taylor Swift, and making memories with her friends. Above all else, Shauna loved her family with her whole heart! She will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of getting to know her.

Left to cherish Shauna’s memory are her adoring parents, Adam Joseph Nagy & Barbara Janice Telischak Nagy of Surfside Beach; her beloved son, the apple of her eye- Justin Nagy of the home; brother and best friend, Charles Nagy and his wife, Stephanie and their children, Rhianna, Brooke & Charles, Jr.; as well as her faithful feline companion, Mama Kitty; a large group of friends and many supportive patrons and neighbors.

A Funeral Service for Shauna will be held on Monday April 13, 2026 at 11am at Saint Nicholas Orthodox Christian Church, 404 Maple St, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. The family will gather to greet friends at the church from 10am until the time of service. Burial will immediately follow within Ocean Woods Memorial Cemetery, 2408 S Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
