Sharon Kay Dietzway, 83, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Saturday January 8, 2022 at her home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She was born on May 24, 1938 in Union, NY and was preceded in death by her birthparents Ina Fuller and Howard Rhoads and her adoptive parents Harold and Marion Leonard.
Sharon had a zest for life and loved her family with her whole heart. She was a skilled photolab tech for Walmart for many years. In her free time, Sharon enjoyed visiting Brookgreen Gardens and above all else, spending time with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.
Left to cherish Sharon’s memory are her adoring husband, David Steele Dietzway of Myrtle Beach; children, Jim Labelle, Colleen Lane, Michele Smith, Steven Valentine, David Louis Dietzway, & Robert Daniel Dietzway; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Nancy, Paula & Valerie; several nieces and nephews; a large, loving, extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.
A Celebration of Sharon’s life will be held privately.
