Scott Heilweil, 70, passed away Tuesday May 5, 2020 at his home in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. He was born on November 23, 1949 in the Bronx, New York to the late Aaron & Doris (Ramer) Heilweil.
Scott proudly served his county in the United States Air Force. Following his honorable discharge, Scott went on to own and operate his own advertising company, Advertising Concepts. Upon his well-deserved retirement, Scott was able to enjoy the finer things in life. Scott was an avid golfer who found peace on the course. He also enjoyed boating, fishing and being on the water. While enlisted in his younger years, Scott was introduced to the beauty of foreign places. This passion lead Scott and his beloved wife to travel regularly. Their favorite locations included Hawaii, the tropics and especially Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. He also enjoyed taking his family on skiing adventures. When Scott and Barb weren’t jet setting to their next paradise, they enjoyed entertaining in their home and within their beloved Palm Bay community. Scott relished organizing and running game nights, Halloween parties and community gatherings. A social butterfly, Scott loved surrounding himself with the people he loved and the positivity they shared. Above all else, Scott loved his family with his whole heart and was truly a caregiver to all. His love for his wife was unconditional and the adoration for his daughters and grandchildren will always be remembered.
Left to cherish Scott’s memory are his beloved wife, soul mate and best friend, Ms. Barbara Kay (Gorshoff) Heilweil of Murrells Inlet, SC; his darling daughters, Laurie Kacinski and her husband, Eric of Long Island, NY, Robyn Derban and her husband, Bill of Pottstown, PA & Ashley Randolph and her husband, Justin of the Bronx, NY; his grandchildren, Eric, Jr., Jessica, Gavin, Kellen, & Riley; sister, Bonnie Feiler and her husband, Sam of Arizona; best friends and neighbors, Ed & Pat Stefanovich; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins; a large, loving, extended family; and many supportive friends and neighbors.
