Sandra Louise Fife

Sweet, loving Sandra Louise Fife, 69 years young, left this earth to meet her Creator on Wednesday, March 9, 2023 at Grand Strand Hospital in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA, on November 11, 1953, Sandy was the daughter of William J. and Mary Ann (Obringer) Fife.

Sandy grew up in a beautiful family in Bethel Park, PA. She was an integral part of a musical family lending her voice to church services and weddings while her Dad accompanied on the organ or piano.  Sandy founded The Fifes and Drums of Prince William III in honor of her Dad. Sandy was a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution through her Kingdom of Fife, Scotland ancestors. She used her creativity to sew beautiful quilts that her family will cherish. 

Sandy is survived by her children, Emily Sablone, Abigail (Scott) Russo and Andrew (Paula) Moore, her grandchildren, Hannah, Anthony, Isabella, Jules and Lorenzo; brother Patrick (Dianne) McNabb and sister, Jacquelynn Fife. Sandy loved her extended Pittsburgh family.

Beloved Mom, cherished Mimi (Meems), special sister and faithful friend, she will be missed dearly forever.

Sandy suffered from many autoimmune diseases and still greeted anyone with a huge smile on her face. Sandy’s strong faith sustained her everyday.

Sandy’s family extends appreciation to Gus and Tormie’s new owners for adopting her beloved pets and thanks her neighbors who have helped keep an eye on her.

Arrangements are under the care of
Burroughs Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3558 Old Kings Highway,
Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. Visitation at Burroughs will be Wednesday, March 15 from 10 am -11 am. Service is at 11 am with burial at Hillcrest Cemetery immediately following. The family is honored to have bagpiper Danny Sullivan for graveside ceremonies.

Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of your Lord.
