Sandra Martin Duggins

Murrells Inlet, SC…Sandra Martin Duggins, age 72, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 16, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.

Sandra was born May 4th, 1949, in Charlotte NC to the late William Franklin and Sadie Belle Smith Martin. 

For two and a half years Sandra fought to keep her cancer at bay. On Saturday that battle was not lost but rather, won, as she met Jesus face to face.

Sandra, Sandie, Sis, Red, Lady, Mommy, Mom, Ma, Mrs. D, Nana and Nina were just a few of the many things she was called, but regardless of the name, she answered them all with a love and warmth like no other. She was a lover of nature and never missed the chance to take care of God's creatures, often a real-life Snow White. While her loss is felt immensely her family takes solace in knowing she has now been made new again.

Surviving are her husband: Joe Stephen Duggins; three children: Ashley Duggins, Stephanie Howerton (Jerry) and Kelly Wrenn (Keith); sister: Ann Springs, 8 grandchildren: Victoria, Jacob, Caleb, Abbygail, Aiden, Allie, Sadie, and Cody; and 1 great grandchild on the way. She leaves a legacy that will honor her for years to come.

Services will be private.
