Sally Jean Crickmore

Sally Jean Crickmore, 69, passed away peacefully Thursday November 23, 2025 at her home in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Born in East Hartford, CT, Sally was the daughter of the late John Gerard Rival and Frances Thompson Rival.

Sally was a member of Shepard of the Sea Lutheran Church where she served as a Church Disciple and a Food Bank Volunteer.  She enjoyed volunteering, crafting and gardening, especially yard beautification with plants, flowers, yard art and etc.

In addition to her parents, Sally is preceded in death by her sister, Judith Rival.

Survivors include her loving spouse of 30 years, Thomas Jackson Crickmore or Myrtle Beach, SC; brother, Jack Rival and wife, Lynn  of Enfield, CT; sisters, Bonnie Rival of East Hartford, CT; Beth Nolting of East Hartford, CT; Sharon Fitzgerald of Springfield , MA; nephew, Robert C. Godfrey.

A Celebration of Sally’s Life will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Shepherd of the Sea Lutheran Church, 2637 US-17 Business, Murrells Inlet, SC  29576.

In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation in Sally’s name to, The American Cancer Society, at www.cancer.org or to the Food Pantry at Shephard of the Sea, 2637 US-17 Business, Murrells Inlet, SC  29576 or to a favorite charity of your choice.
