Ruth Ann (McCartney) Roberts

Ruth Ann Roberts, 68, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday August 17, 2025 at her home in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, She was born on August 29, 1956 in Franklin, Pennsylvania to the late Donald & Mary Ann Bean McCartney.

Along with her parents, Ruth Ann is reunited in passing with her daughter, Pam Adams.

Ruth was a hardworking woman with a heart of gold. She was a skilled emergency medical technician for many years. In her free time and after her well-deserved retirement, Ruth Ann was able to enjoy the quiet life. She enjoyed walking on the beach, crafting, sewing and thrifting but her true passion was her garden and plants. Ruth Ann had a green thumb that allowed the plants she cared for to thrive. Above all else, Ruth Ann loved her family with her whole heart. She will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish Ruth’s memory are her son, Chuck Masters of Hickman, NE; daughter, Theresa Roberts of Winchester, VA; adoring sister, Brenda Manor of Murrells Inlet, SC; as well as many friends.

A Celebration of Ruth Ann’s life will be held privately.
