Russell Davis Obituary

Russell Ray Davis, age 76, passed away peacefully on Saturday January 21, 2023 at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. He was born in Asheville, NC and resided in Charlotte, NC for 51 years. He retired after 18 years of service with Bendel Corp in Charlotte as “Parts Manager.”

Russell was the son of the late Therian Ray Davis & Hilda Faye Davis and was born on April 18, 1946.

Survivors include his wife, of 56 years, Georgia Davis; sister, Linda Revels of Monroe, NC; and brother, Joel Davis and his wife, Jennifer of Nederland, CO; three nephews, Jason & Andy Revels of Charlotte and Charlie Davis of Nederland, CO.

Russell enjoyed bowling, golf, water skiing and being on the beach. He also enjoyed being with his longtime friends and having a good time. Russell was the life of the party. He will be deeply missed.

A Celebration of Russell’s life will be held at a later date.
