Rosemary Roddy Obituary

Rosemary C. Roddy, 81, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Monday, October 3, 2022 at her home in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. She was born on February 4, 1941 in West Columbia, South Carolina to the late Cecil Crapps & Mary Dominick Crapps.

Along with her parents, Rosemary is reunited in passing with her daughter, Darla Roddy; granddaughter Rachel Makayla Roddy and brother, Ronald Crapps.

Rosemary had a zest for life. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Rosemary had a special place in her heart for Christmas time. She enjoyed crafting Santa Clause memorabilia and creating lasting memories with her family. She will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish Rosemary’s memory are her adoring husband of over 62 years, Randy Roddy of Murrells Inlet; two sons, Randy Roddy, Jr. of Socastee, SC and Derek Roddy of Florida; great granddaughter, Rosalee Horton of West Columbia, SC; as well as many supportive friends and neighbors.

A Celebration of Rosemary’s life will be held at 3:00pm Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Pawleys Island Presbyterian Church, 9967 Ocean Hwy, Pawleys Island, SC 29585.
