Ronald Lee Morse, 74, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, formerly of Westminster, MA, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital. He was born September 23, 1950, in Gardner, Massachusetts, son of the late Robert Morse and Barbara Hill Morse.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Don Baker.
He is survived by his loving wife of thirty-seven years, Sharon Morse of Myrtle Beach; one daughter, Becky Marcinkevich and her husband, John of Hampstead, NH; one granddaughter, Amelia Marcinkevich; a sister, Janice Baker of Leominster, MA; brother, Jim Morse of Orange, MA; brother-in-law, Tom Stott and his wife, Suellen of Braintree, MA; as well as one niece, Tammy Hansen and her son, Connor and his wife, Amy.
Ronald was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He spent many years working for the B&M Railroad and later spent time working as a toll attendant in New Hampshire and for Primerica Financial Services.
Ron was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR, the Red Sox and the New York Jets. He also loved playing cards with his friends and being involved with the youth group and coaching the volleyball team at Our Lady Immaculate Church in Athol, MA in his earlier days.
A funeral mass will be held 2:00pm Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at St. Michael Catholic Church, 542 Cypress Avenue, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. A celebration of Ron's life will be held at 1:00pm Monday, October 6th at the American Legion, Post 178 in Murrells Inlet, SC.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, a kind deed be made in honor of Ron.
