Roberta Ellen (Crimi) Darak

Roberta Ellen Darak, age 70, of Pawleys Island, passed away peacefully Wednesday August 6, 2025, at Arbor Landing, Pawleys Island, SC.

Formerly of Lake Grove, NY, Bobi was born in Mineola, NY the daughter of the late Ignatius Crimi and Vieno Crimi.

Bobi was an excellent painter.  Her home was full of various paintings.  She was also an excellent piano player who had a beautiful singing voice.

Survivors include her loving husband, Andrew Darak of Pawleys Island, SC; daughter, Samantha Sullivan of Selden, NY; son, Matthew Darak of Bradenton, FL; daughter, Jillian Darak of Myrtle Beach, SC; 6 grandchildren, Sean Sullivan, Ajay Sullivan, Madilynne Darak, McKenna Darak, Matthew Darak and Kierstyn Darak; sister, Diana Laderer of Melbourne, FL. 

A Celebration of Bobi’s Life will be held later in October with location, day and time to be announced.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations in Bobi’s name be made to a local church of your choice.

Mr. Darak would like to express a special “Thank You” to his children, Samantha Sullivan, Jillian Darak and Matthew Darak for their love and support.
