Robert "Bob" Ivory Weaver

Robert “Bob” Ivory Weaver, 63, of Pawleys Island, SC, rode the eternal wave on Tuesday, September 5, 2023. He was born February 17, 1960 in Georgetown, SC, son of Gayle Maxwell and the late William Bert Weaver, III.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a brother, William Bert Weaver, IV; and grandmother, Eileen Weaver.

Along with his mother Gayle of Georgetown, SC he is survived by four sons, Aubrie Weaver, Morgan Weaver and Easton Weaver all of Georgetown and Travis Newton and his wife, Lindsey of Johnsonville, SC; one sister, Margaret Gerardin (Lionel) of Alexandria, VA; as well as one niece, Caroline Weaver, and two nephews, Carey Weaver and William Bert Weaver, V.; one grandchild Riley Newton; as well as many close friends who were like family.

Bob was an avid outdoorsman who relished being in the sun. His passion was surfing and spending time on his boat. Bob also enjoyed time spent shrimping, fishing and bottle hunting. Above all else, Bob loved his family & friends with his whole heart. He will be deeply missed.

A celebration of Bob’s life will be held 1:00pm Sunday, September 10, 2023 at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Hwy, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time from 12-1pm at the funeral home.

A paddle out in honor of Bob will be held at a later date. Those times will be announced once arrangements are finalized.
