Robert "Bob" James Hing

Robert “Bob” James Hing, 76, of Myrtle Beach, SC passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. He was born March 13, 1945 in Newton, NJ son of the late Lemuel S. Hing and Ethel M. Menzie Hing.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, Donald L. Hahnes and Harold F. Hing.

 Survivors include his wife, Vicky Hing of Myrtle Beach; one son, Robert J. Hing Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Camas, WA; one daughter, Tabatha Beverly and her husband Gary of Mauldin, SC; and three grandchildren, Gates, Bailey and Ethan.

Bob was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Garden City. He proudly served in the United States Navy for four years and eight years in the NJ National Guard. He retired from Pfizer, Inc., after thirty-six years. He was an avid golfer and a lifetime die hard Green Bay Packers fan.

A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, June 17, 2021 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 542 Cypress Avenue, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made in Bob’s name to Help 4 Kids, 2523 Forestbrook Rd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29588.
