Robert A. “Butch” Lynn, Jr., 74, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Monday June 14, 2021 at his home in Surfside Beach, South Carolina. He was born on February 26, 1947 in Wheeling, West Virginia to the late Robert A. Lynn & Emogene Roberts Lynn.

Butch was a proud U.S. Army veteran, having served in Vietnam where he received three Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star. Following his honorable discharge, Butch went on to work as a belt-man for Windsor Coal Company. After many years of dedicated service, Butch was able to retire, and enjoy the finer things in life. In his free time, Butch enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He loved a good game of corn-hole, watching baseball and smoking his pipe. He was also a life time member of the Disabled American Veterans. Above all else, Butch loved his family with his whole heart. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for his quick wit, bright smile and love for his family.
Left to cherish Butch’s memory are his adoring wife, Roxane Fedak Lynn of Surfside Beach; daughter, Lisa Marie Lynn of Surfside Beach; son, Ryan A.
