Robert Roland Landry

Robert Roland Landry, 72, of Myrtle Beach, SC, formerly of Attleboro, MA, died on Tuesday, May 23, 2023. Robert was born in Pawtucket, RI, to the late Roland and Jean (Laframboise) Landry.

Robert was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and proudly served during Vietnam. He worked most of his life as an auto mechanic where he developed a love of classic cars. He enjoyed working on and restoring vintage cars and often visited classic car shows. Robert’s hobbies included fishing, shell collecting and cheering for the New England Patriots. Above all, Robert treasured the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his sisters Anna LaLiberte, Bernadette Johnson, Irene Schuster and his son in law, Louie J. Sauceda, Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Pamela E. (Trainor) Landry of Myrtle Beach, SC; two daughters, Fawn N. Sauceda (Rene Barba) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Rebecca L. (Michael) Marques of Myrtle Beach, SC; one brother, Roland (Joyce) Landry of Providence, RI; three sisters, Joan McKenna of Ledyard, CT, Claire (George) Costa of Cumberland, RI and Norma Chandonnait (Alice Conger) of Pawcatuck, CT; six grandchildren, Austen Sauceda, Colin (Alexandra) Sauceda, Kyla Marques, Emma Marques, Noah Marques and Grayson Barba.

A memorial mass is planned for 9:30 AM on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 542 Cypress Ave, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.
