Robert (Bob) Bruce Butler, Sr.

Robert (Bob) Bruce Butler Sr. 71, of Murrells inlet S.C. (Duanesburg N.Y.)

Born June 26 1949 passed away peacefully at at his home in South Carolina with his family by his side on April 9 2021.

Left to cherish Bob’s memories is his loving wife of over 50 years Diane (Ruth) Butler. Three wonderful daughters Deanna and husband David Skellie of Broadalbin N.Y.

Dawn and husband Mike Belawske of Loris S.C. Wendy and husband Brian Williamson-Butler of Murrells Inlet S.C.
And many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Bob is preceded by his parents and son Robert Bruce Butler Jr.

Bob graduated Duanesburg high school in 1967 he served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam Vet. Retired from General Electric and was town justices of Duanesburg for over 25 years, school bus driver, local business owner and volunteer.

Robert’s final resting place will be in Duanesburg N.Y. by his son’s side. Graveside memorial will be held at a later date.

The family asked please don’t send flowers. If you like please make donations to the American legion or V.F.W. in Robert’s name.

Bob will be dearly missed by many.
