Robert Wilfred Berthiaume, 87, passed away peacefully on Saturday January 17, 2026. He was born on April 22, 1938 in Southbridge, Massachusetts to the late Emile F. & Leone F. Chicoine Berthiaume. His beloved wife Louise C. Berthiaume of 42 years also precedes him in passing. They both enjoyed camping, socializing with friends and vacationing to numerous locations.
Bob proudly served our country in the United States Army until his honorable separation. He went into the work force and found his way into quality control. In his free time, Bob enjoyed the quiet, simple life. He relished time spent golfing, watching football, doing crossword puzzles, wood working and tinkering with his many projects. Bob also enjoyed time spent with family and friends- especially trying new places to eat. Above all else, Bob loved his family with his whole heart. He will be deeply missed.
Left to cherish Bob’s memory are his adoring step-daughter, Tracey Weiland and her husband Steven Weiland of Murrells Inlet, SC,; Step-Son, Scott Negip and companion Deanna Earl of Surfside Beach, SC & Step-son, Lee Negip and his wife Marilyn Negip of Madison, CT; his beloved grandchildren, Jason Negip of Murrells Inlet, Vanessa Hatch of Walkertown, NC & Mazzy Weiland of Washington DC; as well as a loving, extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.
A Celebration of Bob’s life will be held privately.
At the request of the family, please consider memorial contributions in Bob’s name to the charity of one’ choice.
