Ricardo LeRoy, Sr.

Ricardo LeRoy, Sr., 60, of Surfside Beach, SC passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at his residence. He was born March 03, 1959 in Fabens, Texas son of the late Louis Anthony LeRoy and Maria Elena Pacheco LeRoy.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter, Krystal LeRoy and nephew, Hector LeRoy.

Survivors include his wife of forty years, Rachel Ortega; three sons, Ricky Leroy, Jr., Eric LeRoy and Alfred Ortega; brother, Oscar LeRoy and his wife Alice; sisters, Gloria, Josephine and Yolanda LeRoy; two grandchildren, Isabella Ann and Jaxon Monroe LeRoy; nephew, Austin LeRoy; and nieces, Santana LeRoy, Victoria LeRoy and Alexandria LeRoy.

Ricardo enjoyed cooking, grilling, making his famous salsa, walks with his granddaughters, spending time with his family and friends and watching football, especially his Dallas Cowboys.

A funeral mass will be held 2:00pm Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 542 Cypress Avenue Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.

The family has requested that memorial contributions in Ricardo’s name be made to Amedisys Hospice, 391 Seaboard Street Unit 6, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
