Regina (Richardson) Polantz

Regina Richardson Polantz, of Georgetown, SC and formerly of Mooresville, NC, passed away unexpectedly on Monday February 10, 2020 at Georgetown Memorial Hospital in Georgetown, South Carolina. She was born in Wilkes, North Carolina to the late Varnia & Grace Richardson.

Following her retirement from Baucom & Claytor P.A Law Firm, Regina relocated to Murrells Inlet, where she worked for Huntington State Park for many years.  Regina enjoyed the simple things in life, such as dancing and listening to music. She was a faithful woman who loved our Lord and Savior and was very active in her church community. Regina loved to read and had an eye for beauty. She found peace in arts & crafts and loved riding horses and motorcycles. She even had a bike of her own before she got too old. Regina will truly be missed and remembered for her caring demeanor and bright smile.

Left to cherish Regina’s memory are her beloved son, Cody Baker and close friend, Elisa Pressley; and her grandchildren, Averi Baker, Kynleigh Boger and Ryan Walden; as well as her beloved furbabies, Chipper & Mingo.

A Celebration of Regina’s life will be held privately.
