Raymond Wilfrid Cayer Robert

Raymond Wilfrid Cayer Robert, 79, passed away peacefully Monday May 23, 2022.

Born in Washington, DC, Ray was the son of the late Adrien L. Robert and Irene Bouffard Robert.

Ray participated in many sports throughout his youth and was proud to have twice held the title of Golden Glove Champion among other honorable achievements. His enthusiasm and love of all sports continued throughout his life. Known for his generosity, big heart and for being a jokester, Ray was most often found wearing a big smile and laughing with others. Walks on the beach and singing Elvis while driving his Maserati were some of his greatest joys. Ray had a very successful career as a Realtor/ Broker in MD/VA/ DC before retiring and moving to Myrtle Beach to be closer to his children, Michael and Michelle. Ray loved God, his country and his family beyond measure and could not have been more proud of his three granddaughters. But without a single doubt, Ray’s greatest joy in life was being married to Adelle, his bride of 58 years and the love of his life!

Survivors include his loving wife, Adelle Carnohan Robert; son, Michael (Diana) Robert; daughter, Michelle Robert all of Myrtle Beach; brother, Adrien Robert, Maryland; sisters, Delores (Adolph) Perticarri, Delaware; Lorraine Lawhorn and Louise (Tom) Brown both of Virginia; grandchildren, Alyssa Rachelle Raabe, Olivia Rae Robert and Sophia Lynn Robert.

In keeping with the wishes of the family, no services will be held at this time.
