Randall "Randy" Wayne Lack

Randall “Randy” Wayne Lack, age 67, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away on February 7, 2026, at Grand Strand Hospital in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Randy was born on July 20, 1958, in Conway, South Carolina, to the late George Lack and Mary Sue Lack. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, George W. Lack, and his sister, Sherry Sue Lack.

He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Cheryl “Lynn” Lack. He also leaves behind his stepdaughter, Brandi Hall, and her husband Luke Hall, of Sumter, SC; two cherished grandchildren, Gracelyn and Wallace, who brought him immense pride and joy; two nieces, Weslyn Lack Chickering and her husband, Gordon Chickering, and Ginnie Lack; and one great nephew, Charlie Chickering. Randy also dearly loved his loyal pet, Tinkerbell.

Randy dedicated many years of his life to serving his community. He worked for Vernon’s Beach Service and Lack’s Beach Service, and proudly served with the US Army National Guard, the City of Myrtle Beach Police Department, Horry County Police Department, and the Horry County Sheriff’s Department.

In his free time, Randy enjoyed hunting, fishing, horseback riding and riding his motorcycle. He had a deep love for history and especially cherished spending time talking about historical events with his grandson. Randy will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his strong work ethic, and his passion for the things he loved.

He was a lifelong resident of Myrtle Beach, SC, and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life for Randy will take place at Lack’s Beach Service, 531 Robert Grissom Parkway, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577- on Saturday March 14, 2026 from 2pm until 4pm.
