Ralph M. Stacey, 55, passed away unexpectedly Monday March 27, 2023 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He was born on May 29, 1967 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Ralph E. Stacey & Jane Szekely.
Ralph was a skilled and well educated chef and entrepreneur. He was the proud owner and operator of The Cooper House, The Porch in Socastee & Romani's Café. In his free time, Ralph could be found on the golf course or making memories with friends and family. Above all else, he loved his family with his whole heart. He will be deeply missed.
Left to cherish Ralph’s memory are his adoring son, Kyle Stacey of Myrtle Beach; his mother, Jane and step-father, Mark Szekely; father, Ralph E. Stacey and his late wife, Joyce; sister, Christine and her husband, Jim Adams, and twin sister, Michelle and her husband, Dennis Braziel; and brother, Donald and wife, Karin Stacey; niece, Sarah; nephews, Tim, Ben & Alex; business partner and family by choice, Marnie Kennedy; as well as an army of extended family, supportive friends, neighbors and patrons.
A Celebration of Ralph’s life will be held at on Saturday April 1, 2023 at The Cooper House, 6011 Dick Pond Rd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29588. The event will begin at 1:00pm and will have guest speakers begin at 2PM, under the tree.
At the request of the family, please consider memorial contributions in lieu of flowers. Donations in Ralph’s name may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
