Ralph Kohl Bennett

Ralph Kohl Bennett, 91, of Pawleys Island, SC passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021 at the Medical University of South Carolina. He was born March 22, 1930 in Cincinnati, Ohio, son of the late Ralph Bradway Bennett and Ella Kohl Bennett.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Madelyn Marie Wilcoxson.

Survivors include his loving wife of sixty-nine years, Betty Bennett of Pawleys Island, SC; two sons, Kevin Bennett and his wife, Penny of Pawleys Island and Mark Bennett and his wife, Robbyn of Portland, OR; one daughter, Dawn Brockman and her husband, Roger of Fishers, IN; seven grandchildren, Kohl, Katherine, Kristen, Jessica, Alex, Nicholas and Rachel; and great-grandchildren, Nathan, Theo, and Isaac.

Ralph proudly served in the United States Navy. He was a PE in Electrical Engineering graduating from Rose Polytechnic Institute (Rose-Hulman) in 1952. He was a dedicated Christian and family man who enjoyed many things, playing the stock market, working math problems, eating ice cream, and most of all spending time with his family and friends.
