Phyllis J. (Sowards) Mullens

Phyllis J. Mullens, 77, of Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 19, 2025. Phyllis was born in Huntington, WV to the late Audrey and Ike Sowards.   

Phyllis is survived by her son, Thomas Allen Sowards of Myrtle Beach; four grandchildren, Kristen, Tyler, Tessa and Peyton; and a brother, Roger Sowards of Punta Gorda, FL.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 3:00 pm at Hillcrest Cemetery, 1000 Hwy 544, Conway, SC 29526.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Phyllis’ memory to a charity of one’s choice.
