Patsy (Ward) Thomas

Patsy Ward Thomas, 75, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Thursday October 14, 2021 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She was born on June 14, 1946 in Conway, South Carolina to the late Buice & Leonna Flowers Ward.

Along with her parents, Patsy is reunited with her beloved husband, Frankie Thomas Sr.; and their children, Michelle Thompkins & Frankie Thomas Jr.

Patsy was a hardworking woman with a heart of gold- who loved her family above all else. She was an active member of Sweet Home Freewill Baptist Church in Myrtle Beach. Patsy will be deeply missed but fondly remembered as the amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend she truly was.

Left to cherish Patsy’s memory are her children, Steve Thomas (Cindy) & Renee Gardner (Lex); grandchildren, Summer Thomas, Brehanna Thompkins, Shane Thomas, Ashley Hall, Heather Gardner, Zach Gardner, Dustin Thompkins, Frank Thomas, Jr., Coty Thomas, Daelyn Thomas, Jaden Irby, Megan Stewart, Hunter Shipley, Ava Irby & Kylee Thompkins; brother, Bud Ward, Henry Ward and Nova Stapleton; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins; a large, loving extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.

A Celebration of Patsy’s life will be held on Monday October 18, 2021 at 2:00PM at Sweet Home Freewill Baptist Church, 5288 Peachtree Rd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29588. The family will gather to great friends from 12:00PM until the time of service. Burial will immediately follow in the church cemetery.
