Patricia Marie Komerosky, 84, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026. She was born June 17, 1941, in Burlington, New Jersey, daughter of the late William and Ethel Brock Walsh.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Komerosky Samford; and two sisters, Ruth Ryan and Suzanne Kais.
Survivors include her son, Leon E. Komerosky and his wife, Stacey of Myrtle Beach, SC; one granddaughter, Megan Komerosky of Murrells Inlet, SC; two grandsons, Leon M. Komerosky of Myrtle Beach, SC and Nathan Samford of Mabank, TX; great granddaughter, Trinity and two great grandsons, Levi and Kevin; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Trish had an eye for antiques and was able to make a career out of it. She was a manager of Fox and Hound Antique Store on Hwy 501 from the late 90’s until its closing in 2015.
She enjoyed country music, Elvis, and going out to dinner with family and friends. She enjoyed a good yard sale, especially when she came across a good find. She enjoyed her coffee and sweets. She loved Christmas time, the shopping trips to make it happen and seeing all the smiles when she gave out gifts. Every week she looked forward to catching up with her friends on the phone, Mary Ellen, Gerry, and Betty. Most of all Trish loved being a grandma. She was devoted to all her grandchildren. She went above and beyond for them, always. As the years went on, she was promoted to great grandma and we loved seeing her with her great grandchildren, as it reminded us of younger years.
We are grateful she got to spend time with all of her great grandchildren, and we will miss her unconditional love and forever cherish the memories, making sure her memory lives on.
A private gathering will be held at a later date for close friends and family.
The family would like to thank the staff and ICU team at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital.
