Patricia Ann (Williams) Runyans, 85, of Myrtle Beach, passed away on February 16, 2020. She formerly lived in Ontario, Canada and Charlotte, North Carolina. She was born January 26, 1935 in Atlanta, Georgia, a daughter to the late Henry Grady Williams and Nina Lucille Childs Williams. In addition to both of her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband James E. Runyans as well as her twin newborn daughters Susan & Judy Crain.
In life, Ann was a homemaker who loved spending time with her family and friends and entertaining them. She loved being a mother and grandmother. She also had a passion for cooking, gardening and playing card games. Ann is survived by a large and loving family who will forever cherish her memory. Survivors include her daughter Robin Crain of Winter Haven, Florida; daughter Mary Jordan (Michael) of Pawleys Island; son Gene Crain of Los Cabos, Mexico; son David Crain of San Clemente, Florida; and daughter Elizabeth Crain of Haines City, Florida. She is also survived by her many grandchildren; Jared Cole, Sara Cole, Michael Cole, Jason Martin, Jennifer Martin, Eugene Crain IV, Eloise Crain, Kailey Ledoucer, Brandon Ledoucer, Kendall Ledoucer and Joey Larson and lastly her great-grandchildren; Elizabeth Martin, Hanna Martin, Ava Ayres and Baby Clark.
The family will hold a private graveside service at Lancaster Memorial Park Cemetery in Lancaster, South Carolina at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made in Ann’s honor to Regency SouthernCare Hospice, 600 Garden City Connector, Suite A, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. The family also wishes to offer special thanks to all of Ann’s compassionate caregivers at The Lakes at Litchfield, Grand Strand Healthcare and Regency Hospice.
