Patricia Ann Desaulniers

Patricia Ann Desaulniers, 82, formerly of Murrells Inlet, SC, passed away peacefully Monday, August 25, 2025, at Oak Hollow of Georgetown. She was born October 14, 1942, in Washington, DC, a daughter of the late William Louis Boswell, Jr. who passed in 1973 and Hazel Weaver Boswell who died 2004.

An avid television watcher, Patricia enjoyed completing crosswords and puzzles, reading and listening to books on tape. Patricia grew up in Washington, DC where she graduated from Anacostia High School in 1960.  She worked as a Bookkeeper and Administrative Assistant at Curtis Brothers Furniture and Auto Disposal of Brandywine, MD.  She also worked for the IRS in Washington, DC.  Patricia moved to Surfside Beach, SC in 2001 where she worked at the Surfside Beach Library.

In addition to her parents, Patricia is preceded in death by her ex-husband and father of their daughter, John Thomas Apperson who passed in 2023 and her sister, Carolyn Boswell Claypool who passed in 2011.

Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly Sue Apperson of Washington, DC; brother, Mike Boswell of Mechanicsville, MD; her ex-husband, Bob Desaulniers of Murrells Inlet, SC; cousin, Barbara Jordan of Raleigh, NC and her best friend, Becky Bigart of Myrtle Beach, SC.

In keeping with Patricia’s wish, she was cremated.
