Pamela Joan Bezanson Hancox, 68, passed away Monday July 27, 2020 at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. She was born on November 11, 1951 in Waterville, Maine to the late Robert & Grace (Brickett) Bezanson.
Pam was an outgoing woman with a heart of gold. Her love for helping people allowed her to have a supportive network of friends. Pam was a skilled administrative assistant for many years. Following Pam’s well deserved retirement from the University of Pennsylvania as the Head of Facility Services, she was able to enjoy the finer things in life. Pam loved spending time at the beach and making memories with her friends and family. She will be deeply missed.
Left to cherish Pam’s memory are her beloved husband, Mr. Clive Hancox of Murrells Inlet; children, Erik Thomas of Waterville, ME, Kristopher Thomas of MO & Andrea Dawn Thomas of Oakland, ME; her adoring grandchildren, Kaya Vasvary, Lyran Thomas-Ubert, Gabe Talbot, Gracie Talbot, Beau Talbot, Miles & Sadie Hancox, Isla Hancox & Esme Hancox; sisters, Sandra Oullette of Sidney, ME & Terry Henninger of Oakland, ME; brother, Everette Bezanson of Lakeland, FL; step-daughter, Kati Talbot and her husband, Luke Talbot; step-sons, James Hancox & Matt Hancox and their wives, Hillary Hancox and Shelley Hancox; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins; a large, loving, extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.
A Celebration of Pam’s life will be held at a later date.
