Pamela S. Giambalvo, 71, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Wednesday September 8, 2021 at her home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She was born on September 16, 1949 in Yuma, Arizona to the late Juanita Butler.
Along with her parents, Pam is reunited with her son, Andrew Giambalvo.
Pam proudly served our country in the United States Navy and met the love of her life while enlisted. Following her honorable discharge, Pam went on to graduate from Brooklyn College in Brooklyn New York with a Master’s Degree in Education. She then went on to become a skilled and dedicated teacher for many years. Pam served on the New York Board of Education, from which she retired after 28 years of committed service. In her free time, Pam relished making memories with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
Left to cherish Pam’s memory are her adoring husband of over 53 years, Santo “Jimmy” Giambalvo of Myrtle Beach; son, William Giambalvo of New York, NY; daughters, Amy Michelle Giambalvo of Brooklyn, NY & Laura Beth Krause Giambalvo of Myrtle Beach; grandchildren, Pasquale, Adrianna, Sara & Samantha; as well as a large, loving, extended family and many supportive friends neighbors and students.
A Celebration of Pam’s life will be held privately.
