Pamela (Clark) Elders

Pamela Clark Elders, 68, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Sunday April 4, 2021 at her home in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. She was born on September 18, 1952 in Asheville, North Carolina to the late Ben & Norma Saunders Clark.

Pam was a hardworking woman with a heart of gold. Her dedication and passion for helping and teaching others paved her way to become the Manager of training for Duke Energy. Following her well-deserved retirement after 30 years of service, Pam was then able to enjoy the finer things in life. She relished traveling, watching sports and found peace on the beach. Above all else, Pam loved her family with her whole heart. She will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish Pam’s memory are her adoring husband, Rob Elders of Murrells Inlet; her step-children, Lisa Ward and her husband, Jason of Matthews, NC, & Jason Elders and his wife, Becky of Scottsdale, AZ; step-granddaughter, Madeline Poe of Murrells Inlet; sisters, Carole Willford and husband, Harold of Waynesville, NC & Cherie Shaw of Sylva, NC; great-niece, Rachel Shaw of Sylva, NC; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins; a large, loving, extended family  and many supportive friends and neighbors.

A Celebration of Pam’s life will be held on Saturday April 17, 2021 at 1:00PM at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Highway, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.
