Nancy A. (Couillard) Aubin

Nancy A. Aubin, 95, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Thursday July 2, 2026 while at Arbor Landing Independent Living in Surfside Beach, South Carolina. She was born on July 11, 1930 in Biddeford, Maine to the late Ernest H. Couillard & Ada Bennett Couillard.

Along with her parents, Nancy is reunited in passing with her beloved husband, Louis “Lou” Aubin; and sister, Ernestine Patterson.

Left to cherish Nancy’s memory are her son, Kenneth L. Aubin of Vernon, NJ; daughter, Lisa A. Aubin and her husband Doug Simon of Wendell, MA; grandchildren, Cristin McCabe and her husband Brian of Weymouth, MA, Keith Aubin of Lunenburg, MA, Cassandra LaMountain and her husband Matt of Warwick, RI, Kelly McSweeney and her husband Ross of Littleton, MA & Benjamin Simon and his wife, Lauren of Boston, MA; great-grandchildren, Fiona McSweeney, Caleb McSweeney, Collin McCabe, Jolene McCabe, Desmond LaMountain, Nora LaMountain & William Aubin; as well as many supportive friends, neighbors and caregivers.

Nancy was a faithful member of St. Michael Catholic Church and generously gave her time as a volunteer with Brookgreen Gardens as well as the Friends of the Surfside Library. She found joy in golfing, collecting seashells along the beach, making seashell ornaments every year for her grandchildren, playing Mah Jongg and cards, and spending time by the ocean—one of her favorite places. She will be deeply missed.

Services will be held privately.

You may honor Nancy by calling on a good friend, taking a walk on your favorite beach and don’t forget to admire the clouds in the sky.

Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
